Issues with connect on TPTMultiV2

My son and I want to play together, and we both love this thing. BUT we followed the install the LUA script manager, and add the TPTMultiV2 script. We are both registered users, but he was able to log in and /connect but mine says that I am in a guest lobby as I do not seem to be logged in....and from that point I cannot proceed to play with other people it does not appear.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

It also says this: "your account is too new, you will be playing as a guest for now; try again in [whatever amount of time] to be able to use your real name". The amount of time is never more than 24h, which is what we arbitrarily decided as being enough time to potentially recognize spam accounts, which is what this feature is meant to combat.
I don't remember whether it says this before or after the message you quoted, but I see how it'd be confusing either way. Both are displayed for some silly technical reason for now; this sounds like something that would be nice to fix.
